In this position -- I've joined a very successful company in the aviation, aerospace, and defense industries. I'm currently an assembly operator. I drill and countersink holes in component parts, and rivet various sized assemblies together using hand rivet guns, hydraulic presses, and C-frames. This requires following part drawings, performing quality checks and documentation as required. I also work with thermoplastic composite layups, welding strips, hand sanding, and sand blasting. Daily time tracking and data collection utilizing JobBOSS and isolved.Taking this position was a return to my roots, but I look forward to my future growth potential.

In this position -- I supervised all of the assembly team members (working a midshift between dayshift and nightshift), ensuring processes are being properly executed on the production line. I assisted in monitoring materials movement to assure parts were being delivered correctly to the work stations and also making sure that orders were prepared accurately for shipping to customers. I also helped create jobs as needed, post, receipt, and release jobs utilizing SYSPRO 7.

I also supervised automated tube bending operations, welding fixture repair personnel, maintenance department personnel, and all forklift operators including the shipping operations on first shift.I maintained time keeping and scheduling workforce. I also performed monthly layered process audits.

In this position -- I supervised operators on all of the 1,600 and 2,000 ton transfer presses.Being on second shift, I was also in charge of supervising the tool room, maintenance department personnel, forklift operators, and shipping operations.I also maintained time keeping and scheduling workforce.

In this position -- I was responsible for accessing and training of all weld set up personnel on all three shifts. I created all of the new operation standards and new process documentation as well as updating existing process documents as needed. I also helped in launching new welding jobs and benchmarking of iGear integration on select pedestal welders.

In this position -- I developed and implemented cost saving and efficiency driven projects throughout the entire manufacturing plant.Being an Industrial Engineer allowed me to explore the manufacturing processes and help build more robust results. This included: metal stamping presses, robotic spot and mig welding, spot and projection welding, orbital riveting, tube forming, cnc machining cells, hand assembly, tapping, and shipping. I performed time studies and process audits to find root causes for production deficiencies.I also helped redesign weld fixturing for improvements on the shop floor and helped with the implementation of the associates suggestion program.I worked on continuous improvements and cost saving to impact the bottom line of the company.

In this position -- I was responsible for: developing, testing, and documenting new manufacturing processes. I created all operations standards and process documentation for all of our assembly, welding, robotic mig welding, and shipping work to all of the global plant locations. I championed in training all associates in 5S, OEE, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, as well as led the Continuous Improvement teams. I also helped build team members by sharing my manufacturing experience and expertise throughout the global plant locations.(This included flying to our Alabama and Texas plants several times a year.) I performed takt time studies, calculated OEE, and entered data into capacity management systems to acquire new work from our customers.I worked with vendors to obtain the most cost effective equipment and purchase materials for capital builds. I was responsible for performing quality testing, quality audits, tensile and compression testing, as well as cut and etching for video microscope examination for weld penetration. As a member of engineering, I attended new model launch and corrective action meetings. I also produced trial samples, as well as the first run welding assemblies and PPAP submissions.

In this position -- I was in charge of supervising the set up and maintenance of 40 standard welders. It was a pleasure training set up personel and sharing my experience.
