As an exhibit developer I worked to turn our clients' ideas, goals, and story into engaging informal learning experiences.I conducted research and wrote interpretive text on a wide range of topics, including American history and the sciences. I assisted in the facilitation of creative meetings and exhibit planning with exhibit designers and clients.

- Advised on collections care and inventory- Researched and wrote exhibition labels- Assisted in the development and prototyping of a children's education center, the "Discovery Den."

- As part of a team of consultants from the Cooperstown Graduate Program, designed and developed a new exhibit plan- Researched and wrote labels to explain basic scientific principles- Installed exhibit components- Managed exhibit budget

I served as graduate teaching assistant to Dr. Gretchen Sullivan Sorin, director of the Cooperstown Graduate Program. My responsibilities included research assistance and developing a furnishing plan for the Office of the President at SUNY Oneonta.

- Researched and wrote exhibit scripts for multiple exhibits, including “Scribes and Mikemen” and “Today’s Game”- Assisted the education department with museum programming- Worked with members of different departments to choose items for an exhibition of recent acquisitions

- Researched and created additional material for distance learning programs- Compiled information and received quotes on distance-learning equipment

- Developed exhibitions for display around the campus of Luther College. Assisted with collections care and inventory.
