Experienced academic working in Computer Science and Mathematics. Associate Professor in Computer Science at Coventry University and Director of the Research Centre for Computational Science and Mathematical Modelling. Leading EPSRC projects, directing PhD research and teaching in the School of Computing, Mathematics and Data Science. Research interests include symbolic computation / computer algebra specifically algorithms for quantifier elimination and real polynomial systems; their applications particularly in chemical reaction networks and economic reasoning; and their optimisation using machine learning and data science techniques.
