Draft and argue numerous motions for injunctive relief, motions for default judgment, motions to strike, discovery motions, and oppositions to motions to dismiss. Negotiate and draft hundreds of settlement agreements. First chair depositions of defendants. Oversee the drafting of expert reports regarding the counterfeit nature of the publications at issue. Negotiate the scope of third-party productions in response to subpoenas on financial institutions and internet service providers. Supervise junior attorneys and paralegals and manage all elements of discovery. Draft amicus briefs to the Second Circuit regarding the scope of the court’s injunctive power and ability to bind foreign banks. Develop and implement policy changes at internet service providers to stem the distribution of infringing products.

Represented clients in SEC investigations, internal investigations, and securities litigation. Senior associate on a four-person team that represented an audit committee following revelations of possible undisclosed payments by the sales team. Duties included interviewing employees, developing internal policy changes with CAO and GC, coordinating with outside accounting experts, performing PCAOB credibility assessments, investigating whistleblower allegations, managing document review, presenting to the audit committee, and preparing presentations to the SEC.

Senior associate on a team that represented hedge funds and trustees in more than a dozen residential mortgage-backed securities litigations.
