As a goal oriented, determined student, I have earned direct admission to the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, while also a member of the Hutton Honors College on campus. I am currently double majoring in Finance and Real Estate and plan to either go into owning commercial real estate or working in the financial industry. Along with countless hours of academic study, I have supplemented this learning with independent study as well. I am well versed in the basics of commercial real estate and some in depth financial analysis. Through meeting friends and contacts in school, I have further developed my communication skills and plan to make use of these in the working world. Through my experience with Retrophin, a publicly traded biotech firm in New York City, I became proficient in Microsoft Excel and solidified some basic financial analysis methods. I also worked as the head Sales Associate for American Thrift Store in which I was successful in selling thousands of dollars worth of furniture and far surpassing my summer goal. I am currently in the Real Estate Club at IU and intend to stand out and get some real world experience. I am also a member of Hillel on campus and regularly attend events.
