From farming to entrepreneurship, I always try to learn from my experiences. I attended Blissfield Community Schools finishing my primary education at Clarkston High School. I graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's in Media and Information and a minor in Entrepreneurship. During my time at MSU, I have had the unique opportunity to work with my peers to help design a client-based solution for problems that the Girls for Success program in Costa Rica were facing. Additionally, I have participated in a few Two Day Ventures, an entrepreneurial challenge that groups of 8-10 students are tasked with designing a business venture related to that weekend's theme.I am open to a diverse range of work experiences. I started my professional journey at Calvin Klein as a Sales Associate where I handled cash transactions, aided customers, managed inventory, and provided general custodial services. The following year, I worked at Madison Electric as an Assembler. I prepared products i.e. cables and connectors for further work, took inventory, and aided in manufacturing via soldering and applying connectors to products. During the height of the pandemic, I briefly worked on the freelance website Fiverr where I provided copywriting, script writing, audio editing, and B2B blog services. I then worked at MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center as an Online Lister. I identified products by using online research, created descriptions of products including item specific details, photographed products and applied appropriate edits, and created online listings for products to sell through online stores. I then interned at Michigan State University Federal Credit Union where I recorded video, photographed events, and created videos and animations for social media (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) for both desktop and mobile users using Adobe Suite, stock images and videos, and previously recorded media.
