It is an honor to join Naples Comprehensive Health as their Director of Advocacy & Government Relations. Returning to the lobby corps, I look forward to joining my advocacy colleagues across Florida on behalf of the patients, staff, and practitioners of NCH!I previously served with Healthcare Network as Director of Development to help bring affordable & accessible high-quality healthcare to Collier county.From 2008 through late 2019, I was Director of Governmental Relations for Florida SouthWestern (formerly Edison) State College in Fort Myers, Florida. Prior to that, I served in increasingly responsible positions within the Florida House of Representatives as a Senior Legislative Aide in Jacksonville. All together I enjoy 21 years in the legislative process, working to ultimately bring tens of millions in support for our community. A veteran of the United States Air Force, I served in the Air Force Special Operations Command as a helicopter crew chief on the MH-53J Pave Low at Hurlburt Field in the Florida panhandle during four years of active duty service. While on active duty, I participated in Operation Joint Endeavor as part of the Special Operations Command Implementation Force (SOCIFOR) in support of operations in the former Yugoslavia and numerous deployments in support of joint service training and special operations. My active duty service was followed by two years in the USAF Reserves on the MH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter in a combat search and rescue capacity at Patrick AFB near Cape Canaveral and supporting our nation's space mission.Specialties: Broad experience of state and federal legislative operations
