Blackmarket UK is a North-West based live events company founded in 2022. Bringing top artists to underground clubs in Manchester and Liverpool.

This was a high pressured fast paced environment that taught me to think on my feet and make decisions quickly. Working in a team of 3-5 providing high quality food for up to 600 covers a day i was constantly making quick decisions in a stressful environment.

After receiving a promotion to team leader for the children’s activity camps at GLL i was in charge of up to 5 staff members and had the safety and well being of up to 40 children aged between 4-12. It was incredibly important to stay alert at all times, plan ahead and be able to sort out many tasks or issues at once. It taught me authority as i had to make sure other members of staff were doing their job correctly aswell as making sure all the children were safe. We had to be first aid trained and keep constant head counts every 30 minutes. This role taught me to multitask well and to think Cleary on many different situations under pressure all at once.

As a lifeguard it is extremely important to be switched on at all times, never loosing focus. The job has great responsibility and required tough training and tests.

Working as a CSA i was constantly engaging with a range of customers providing the exact service they required. Being the face of the business it was important to maintain high levels of standards at all time. I learned to tailor the service to the customers needs
