I love the big-picture thinking and concepts behind engineering. This is why I shifted from a more technical understanding of engineering to studying it as a liberal art. At Lafayette College where I am completing my degree in Engineering Studies, I have gained the importance of combining the technical training I have received as well as learning how to work within teams to help support peers in achieving our goals together. Over the past year, I have worked on various projects within my courses that have helped me practice design work as well as collaborative skills. I am interested in experiencing an internship to learn more about urban planning and public transportation, as I come from NYC and want to learn more about how to make a positive impact within my community.
