I have worked up through three ranks as a counselor for High Harbour. Most of my time working occurs in 3 to 4 week intervals during the summer, where I live at the camp and take care of the campers, ranging from ages 8 to 14. I also work various retreat weekends during the school year. While working, I watch out for the safety and well being of the campers, as well as teach various outdoor skills, such as rock climbing and archery. I typically work with younger children around the ages of 8 and 9. This past year I also worked as a Leadership counselor to train the next generation of staff members.
