I have participated in the Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) for the past three years. I was first a participant of the forum in 2015. I then went back to be on staff in the years of 2016, 2018, and 2019 with my most recent position being a Staff Facilitator. I was in charge of organizing group activities for the week as well as organizing small group meeting times among other tasks. The Youth Leadership forum is designed for people for disabilities. I have a disability called autism. We engage in many different activities at YLF such as mock interviews, a tour of the Wisconsin Capitol, visits to businesses, and other activities to help individuals with disabilities become as independent and successful as possible. YLF has helped me realize that anything is possible in life. The week-long camp experiences have changed my perspective on life. I have learned to stay positive and achieve all of my goals through hard work and dedication.

I worked at the Bonduel School District as a technology assistant for three summers over a period of three years. I helped to fix computers and solved many technology problems in a timely manner. In addition to assisting with the school computers, I also designed all the school district's sports and extra-curricular activities websites. I designed websites for the Bonduel sports teams to advertise the school a little more online. This was a great experience that directly prepared me for post-secondary studies.
