Prepares and submits various reports as required by local, state and federal governments; oversees filing and maintenance of reports, records, and other documents as required by federal, state and local laws and regulations. Attends seminars, conferences, workshops, classes, lectures, etc., and reviews professional literature, as appropriate, to enhance and maintain knowledge of trends and developments in fields of emergency services response. Maintains readiness to respond to emergency situations, as required; responds to emergency calls as needed; and coordinates the provision of medical services making assessments. My position requires me to recruit, train and motivate volunteers to accomplish many of the goals set forth by the squad.

Employees working in the class work in the Public Safety Communications Center which is a twenty-four hour, seven days per week operation.
