At present I have been charged with having a particular focus on South East Asia and Africa as well as providing support to a number of high value long term Military programmes in Europe.

Involved with this entity from the birth of the concept I had the great pleasure to present the idea to Francis Maude to seek his support. 18 months and 2 trial programmes later the contract was placed and the entity was born.I acted as the start-up Programmes Director for BlueLightWorks whilst it was in formation. This provided the opportunity to work with various Emergency Service and Home Office teams to flesh out project definitions which BlueLightWorks then went on to deliver.Managed the first ever BlueLightWorks project to 'pipe clean' the construct. The Project delivered on time and to budget with options and outcomes around SIAM design and execution that were considered valuable by the client.

• Managing programme office during strategic review and unification of 3 wholly owned companies.• Working closely with BD team developing growth plans for NewCo.• Working on “Day 1” business continuity – supporting numerous UK aspects (Legal, Commercial, Institutional, Operational and Marketing).

• Managed a small cross Op Co team focussed on developing new markets for Finmeccanica - focus on Security, Energy, Transport, Health.• Worked across the Finmeccanica portfolio with a particular focus on Electronics and Space companies• Worked closely with Government departments (Scientific Advisors, Technology functions) to understand / influence solution road maps• Led on a number of industrial partnership discussions resulting in joint a number of joint bids

• Worked to establish Finmeccanica brand & presence in the UK – established relationships with Governmental and Industrial stakeholders.• Manage (ongoing) the strategic relationship between FNM and UK MoD – took the group from 8th to 1st in the performance league• Stimulated and coordinated two cross Op Co team (Security & Resilience and Battle Space).

• Responsible for both the supply and sub-contract management functions; worked into primes / System Integrators (LM, BAE Systems, Thales, General Dynamics) & MoD.• Managed numerous successful national and international bids and established and managed numerous international partnerships• Worked on programmes including FRES, JAMES, Watchkeeper, FIST, CVF, T45, Eurofighter, BOWMAN. • Led on specific due diligence exercises in UK (M&A) and India (distributor audit) and Post Merger Integration

• Built the UK EuroSystems Data room, managed the Due Diligence (home team) • Negotiated various annexes to sale and purchase agreements - £600m transaction• Post-Merger Integration - Managed the business separation (away from BAES) and negotiated service / separation agreements • Numerous other M&A stage papers

During this time I undertook various roles & projects accross the corporation:• Developed the BAE Systems UK Industrial Strategy following a detailed strategic review of the group• Led two trade delegations (for off-set) into Romania following T23 sales• Established a customer – supplier partnership for Warship Support (Post Design Services)• Managed the UK ‘Disposals Forum’ working with MoD to ‘re-role and sell’ legacy assets• Project planning on Storm shadow and various PV projects
