About Matthew Meade

I have spent the last 28 years in the metal fabrication industry. Since graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor of Technology in Manufacturing Engineering Technology in 1991, I've held positions as CNC Programmer, Engineering Manager, Plant Manager. In 2000, I earned an MBA from Baker University and got into management. I held positions as General Manager, Operations Manager, VP of Operations from 2000-2012. In 2012, I made a career change to manage projects over factories and am currently the Owner and President of FX Machine Tool, distributing high end metal fabrication equipment.I spent 13 years with ICF Industries, 3 years with Metcraft Inc, 4 years with Steel & Pipe Supply, and 6 years with Bystronic. I started FX Machine Tool in 2018.
