FX Machine Tool

FX Machine Tool is a newly established machine tool distributor for the metal fabrication industry serving the midwest states of Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri. The company was founded by Matthew Meade, after more than 26 years in the metal fabrication industry. After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, “Matt” spent 20 years in the metal fabrication industry in two Kansas City area job shops. After doing everything from CNC programming, design engineering, and engineering management, Matt earned and an MBA in 2002 that led to management roles as general manager and vice president of operations within the industry. It was then that he discovered working on capital equipment projects was something that was challenging and rewarding. In 2012, Matt changed gears and made the move to make capital equipment a full time career. He joined Bystronic to sell lasers, press brakes and automation in MO and KS and later IA and NE. Bystronic is now the flagship product line for FX Machine Tool, which proudly represents Bystronic and several other great manufacturers across the same four state region. Sales is a byproduct of what we do at FX Machine Tool. We think of ourselves as consultants first and we work hard to be the best machine tool distributor to work with.
