I attended Virginia Tech for my Undergrad studying Construction Engineering and Management. The bulk of my classes were civil classes that included materials, structural analysis, steel design, reinforced concrete design, and Geotech. The only civil classes I did not take were water resources and fluids. I also worked with programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office. I graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2023 with a 3.34 overall GPA, and I started working for Whiting Turner right after I graduated. As I worked (and currently still work) for Whiting-Turner as a Field Engineer, my role is to manage work on the job site, review submittals and RFI’s, coordinate between the project team, architect, engineer, and owner, and plan/schedule work that needs to be completed in order to keep the project moving.I do have a firm grasp on all civil engineering disciplines and how to apply them and I am also great at working in a team and being in a fast-paced environment. I am very easy-going and easy to get along with as well and I am a hard worker.
