I was first introduced to 3D modeling whilst using similar programs for CNC woodworking applications. I used this software for a number of years. I eventually transitioned into purchasing a 3D printer, and taking my first step into becoming a 3D Artist.From the moment I opened my first 3D modeling and sculpting software, I knew this is what I was meant to do. I began as many do, with free programs such as Blender. The more I learned about this field, the more certain I became that this was what I wanted to do. I graduated CG Spectrum on February 16, 2022. My mentor, Jon Krummel, was amazing. I was very lucky to have trained under him. Through CG Spectrum, I was trained on industry standard software. The main focus being Autodesk Maya, Adobe Substance Painter, ZBrush, and a basic introduction to Unreal Engine.While I haven’t had the opportunity to gain professional experience within this field, I make it a point to continue learning. Every project that I take on, I do so with the goal of learning something new. Be it a feature within a program or a new program entirely. I am very driven to learn as much as I can and hope to find the opportunity to begin my journey in this field.
