I joined the BISD family shortly after graduating from McMurry University. During my time there I worked at West Brook High School in the Special Education Department as a Paraprofessional in the Behavioral Transition Classroom (BTC). I also thoroughly enjoyed being apart of the 2016 West Brook Bruin Football Coaching Staff (11-2) as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach. During my short time there I had the privilege of working with and mentoring students that did not necessarily work well with an average student population. I spent time helping them learn coping skills and conflict resolution skills that did not involve physical outburst.
