Involved in the SUPER and SUPER-NEXT studies (using whole genomic sequencing to solve Cancer of Unknown Primary). Consenting patients to the study, preparing reports for analysis. Using REDCap to complete case report forms. Also helping out with the general running of the project e.g., keeping site files up to date.

Screening patients for COVID and assisting with the check-in process at the Hospital. Liaising with nursing staff to organise visits with approved visitors to ensure patient safety.

Research Assistant at the Australian Neuromuscular Disease Registry (ANMDR). Consenting patients to the study to investigate the natural history of participants living with neuromuscular diseases. Writing reports for pharmaceutical companies both in early stage clinical trials, and for post-marketing surveillance of investigational products (IPs).

In charge of creating a user guide for how to extract data from a dataset and perform statistical analysis on it in STATA. Data is from face-to-face recruitment visits of mothers into the landmark GenV (Generation Victoria) research project.

I was responsible for creating a Shiny App in R that would automatically flag suspicious data as something needing to be reviewed by the data manager e.g., mismatches, ineligible people being recruited, and miscalculations in participant information.
