I have worked in the IT/Customer Support field for over 8 years. During that time I've made significant improvements in my ability to lead a team, ensure personal goals are met, and focus heavily on the customer experience while ensuring I am representing my role to the highest of my abilities. I am consistently looking for new aspects of any role I take on that I can learn and grow from personally, and professionally.My career aspirations started during my time in the Marine Corps. Working in the Aviation Electronics field I was able to see what it takes to succeed in a technical and structured environment. I credit the Marine Corps with teaching me how to lead, seek self improvement, and look for ways I can benefit any team/organization that I am apart ofPost Marine Corps I enrolled at Northeastern Illinois University with a track focused on Computer Science/Cyber security. I was able to utilize what I had learned at school in conjunction with what I had learned in the Marine Corps to direct my focus on a IT/Managerial/Support career path where I could grow as an industry professional.A month after graduating with a degree in Computer Science I started my professional career path that would continue to help me in developing my interpersonal, technical, and leadership skills. Starting off a tier 1 support specialist within a few years I was promoted to team lead where I was tasked with ensuring a successful customer experience for all our customers, as well as providing technical and professional guidance for members of my support teamMy professional goals have helped me to focus on being an add value to any organization I have been a part of and I hope to continue to be able to provide a level of technical knowledge, leadership skills, and customer facing experience that will help in the growth of any organization I am apart of.
