Founder and Executive Director of the Northeast Wisconsin Children's Grief Center. Matt's father died when he was 7 years old. As a result Matt's life was affected in many ways, both negative and positive. These experiences left him wishing that he had some sort of help, apart from his family, in dealing with the adjustment from having a loving living father to having a hole in his life where his father should have been. There were several small pieces provided by friends and family, but still much was missing. The goal of the Northeast Wisconsin Children's Grief Center is to help children and families put the pieces of the puzzle back together and adjust to the new normal of a life where a parent, sibling or other significant person in their life has died. - We are in our beginning stages and more information will be added as steps are taken.
