As a Graduate Intern at Durham, I supported over 20 student music ensembles with budgeting, concert and rehearsal management, tour planning, and outreach projects. I independently delivered a busy programme of concerts, masterclasses and professional development opportunities for students, and was responsible for promoting our ensembles' work within the University and beyond.

Alongside my degree, I was an Organ Scholar for the Chapel of St John's College, Durham. In addition to accompanying the choir for weekly evensong, I performed regularly in Durham and Ripon Cathedrals, York Minster, Hexham Abbey, and live on BBC Radio 4's 'Sunday Worship'.

As Choir Manager, I led a recruitment drive for the academic year 2021/22 that resulted in twice as many students auditioning than in the previous year. I also facilitated opportunities for the choir to perform in prestigious concert venues and cathedrals across the UK, and acted as choir librarian, meticulously maintaining records of the library inventory.

Orléans, Centre-Val De Loire, France

Based at the Lycée Charles Péguy in Orléans, I planned and delivered English lessons to pupils aged 15-18 preparing for the baccaleuréat exam, with a particular focus on developing oral expression, pronunciation, grammar, and cultural knowledge. I also established a weekly lunchtime English speaking club for pupils.

As DUOS Secretary I edited and designed the Orchestra's concert programmes, wrote and designed regular newsletters to Orchestra members, and took minutes at weekly committee meetings. I also gained experience in concert and rehearsal management, arts marketing, and ticketing.
