My subsequent adventure tour guiding built on this by conducting informative, well-rounded tourism experiences, offering insights into the places we’d visit - the history, industries and issues they face. Working in business development forced me to be analytical about corporate responsibility; to ensure that the products I created benefited all stakeholders involved, particularly when operating in National Parks. My varied career covering seven countries has offered me insights into how different cultures, organisations and businesses manage their relationship with their social, environmental and financial obligations and of course realistic experience of the day to day life of different tourism organisations.
