The Purple Line is a new 16.2-mile light-rail line that will connect communities from Bethesda and Silver Spring in Montgomery County to College Park/University of Maryland and New Carrollton in Prince George’s County, with a total of 21 stations.

Providing management and technical services to regional transit clients – the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) and Maryland Department of Transportation’s Maryland Transit Administration (MDOT MTA).

Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area

Led the Program Management Consultant Team that partnered with GoTriangle during the Engineering phase of the 17.7-mile, 18 station Durham-Orange Light Rail Transit (D-O LRT) Project. The Project was discontinued as of April 2019.

Greater Atlanta Area

Served as the collaborative interface between HTNB's valued rail/transit market clients and HNTB’s team of management, engineering and construction experts. Responsible for market strategic planning, new client development and project pursuits in the southeast region from Maryland to Florida. Market growth was evidenced by contracts with new clients: MTA (Maryland), WMATA, GoTriangle and SFRTA. Provided executive-level programmatic and technical oversight of projects.

Greater Atlanta Area

Established and led the Metropolitan Atlanta Transit Consultants (MATC), the General Engineering Consultant for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). MATC provided management, design, engineering, construction management and administration services. My staff was a blended on-site/off-site team with 100+ on-site professionals and a $28MM annual work program as of FY2014.

Responsible for project delivery, quality, marketing, client relations, staffing and budgeting of Maryland area transit programs. Clients included Maryland Transit Administration and Virginia Railway Express.

Established and directed the systems construction management team for Pittsburgh’s Stage II Light Rail Expansion.
