Michael Steinle has more than 34 years of experience in project management, organizational resilience, sustainability, emergency preparedness and environmental, health and safety stewardship. He has served as the project manager and technical lead on many large-scale risk, resilience and emergency preparedness projects in a broad number of critical infrastructure sectors including transportation (aviation, transit, maritime), public health and hospitals, energy, and water. His work includes risk assessment, mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery related to malevolent threats, natural hazards, and climate change. He is engaged in sustainability and climate resilience projects across all sectors and on behalf of local, state, and federal agencies.Michael has served on community boards focusing on sustainability and resilience and is a recognized leader in critical infrastructure protection and community preparedness. As a board member of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), he is active in child welfare causes and authored guidance regarding children’s issues in disaster preparedness.
