Intern for Ph.D. student Yohanna Hanna in the Viterbi Department of Aerospace Engineering through the SHINE summer program. Assisted Hanna in force-balancing the Dryden Wind Tunnel for porous airfoil tests. Built a PVC glider launcher to conduct preliminary research measuring lift and drag on small gliders with porous wings to simulate small unmanned aerial vehicles. Research used towards Hanna’s experiment testing the relationship between porous wings and aerodynamic stability.
