Designed a pinning device to aid in the fixation of paediatric supracondylar fractures of the distal humerus. Included use of SOLIDWORKS to design multiple iterations of a pinning device while regularly meeting remotely with a senior medical engineering professor and a consultant orthopaedic surgeon. Resulted in a prototype design currently awaiting manufacture. If successful, device may move onto further analysis and clinical trials.
