As the PMO manager I was responsible for leading and mentoring a group of 7 project managers of all levels and backgrounds. Ensuring the completeness and follow through on all projects and adherence to the AFC IT Project Methodology and SOX governance rules.As the PMO Manager I introduced several Process Improvement initiatives into the PMO to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the department. Below is a list of just a few of the Process Improvements I brought to the team: Project Estimation Standards / templates, Project Workbook (Spreadsheet listing all templates and Best practices through a project life cycle), introducing schedule contingency standards, Project Kickoff Templates, Project Charter, Project Closeout, and etc. (Salesforce.com Integration) As Program Manager I was responsible for delivering a $2.5 million dollar business critical program to migrate AFC’s legacy underwriting systems into Salesforce.com. The final product was released on time and was a major success at cutting our underwriting churn times down from 35 days to 9 days.
