When I was younger, I wasn't really aware of the technology around me. I thought that my family's computer comprised of only the monitor, not noticing the work that the actual computer was doing, hidden from my sight. I eventually did realize this to be false, and as I began to work my way from Scratch to Python, I then realized how complicated computers are to do what they do, from the school computers I used to write essays to the one that operates within the electric piano I took lessons on. I now understood how fascinating it is to now have computers where the components go unnoticed by the user.As an aspiring computer engineer, I find interest in both the process of programming and seeing how programs are processed by the computer. Through coding club in high school, I was able to learn about more advanced problems, such as machine learning, and apply them myself, while teaching others to do the same. I realize that there is still a lot to be learned, but just as I learned the truth about computer monitors, I am willing to learn, and most importantly apply new ideas. in whatever I do. As of now, I'm continuing to pursue my studies, and hope to apply what I know through an internship or other similar experiences.
