As a finance and accounting intern I worked in both the accounting and credit departments. Within accounting I played an active role in both accounts payable and accounts receivable operations. Through the ERP system, Agility, I reviewed the accuracy of accounts payable invoices for a wide set of company suppliers and posted them to appropriate general ledger accounts. In addition, I applied a variety of accounts receivable payments to credit customer accounts. The methods of payment consisted of cash, checks, credit cards, bank transfers, and online payments. My role within the credit department consisted of the formulation of comprehensive reports for prospective credit applicants through the utilization of Microsoft Excel. By compiling information on mortgages, installment loans, and revolving lines of credit, I was able to provide detailed credit analyses. Further, researching the ownership status and lien history on properties, as well as analyzing business credit reports, provided additional sources of applicable information that aided in the final decision-making process regarding the extension of credit.

As a course management employee at The Oyster Harbors Club I developed strong collaborative skills through working with other employees to ensure the course's up keeping. I also gained valuable insight into effective management and leadership strategies through training new employees. Additionally, due to my hard work in golf and strong academic standing, I was awarded several scholarships. The scholarships include: The Oyster Harbors Club Scholarship, Francis Ouimet Scholarship, and the Rick Stimets Scholarship.

Through my internship with the Cotuit Kettleers of the Cape Cod Baseball League, I gained valuable experience related to customer/fan service by taking part in a variety of jobs necessary to establish and enhance fan engagement and overall satisfaction. Conducting tasks such as greeting fans, handing out pamphlets (i.e. yearbooks, stat sheets, flyers), and selling raffle tickets all contributed to maximizing the fan experience. In addition, I also improved my leadership skills through the set-up and management of various organization-related events designed to enhance fan enjoyment and increase community involvement. Lastly, participating in the set-up process on a game-by-game basis, along with ensuring the smooth operation of all ballpark operations, allowed for the development of various skills related to success in the workplace. The unpredictable nature of the position led to a variety of changing situations, resulting in improved adaptability. All of these processes involved working with a number of other peers and supervisors, leading to the continued advancement of my teamwork skills.

My role consisted of the planning and successful implementation of data-collection methods during the PVTO High School Basketball Showcase Tournament. During the tournament, I effectively tracked a variety of in-game statistics for high school teams participating in the showcase. At the conclusion, I analyzed player tendencies and team trends by reviewing the compiled data.
