Serve on the President's Executive Cabinet and as the Chief Executive of the Division of Information Technology (DIT) for one of the largest community colleges in the state. The division is responsible for all areas of Information Technology on the campus, to include Information Security, Identity and Access Management (Active Directory/Azure), Data Governance, SAN, DR/Business Continuity, ERP, LMS, Network Infrastructure, Technology Support, Technology Inventory, Technology Procurement, and Technology Project Management. Lead the technology vision for the college, ensuring compliance with all security standards, their integration, and mitigating the impact to operations.Serve as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the college. This role manages the college’s Information Security Operations, utilizing the NIST Cybersecurity Framework. Operations involve policies and procedures for Data Governance, Backup and Disaster Recovery, Identity and Access Management (IAM), Acceptable Use, and infrastructure and physical security. Manage 3rd party vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with safe data handling requirements. This role also ensures the college’s compliance with all state and federal guidelines involving PCI, PII, GLBA, and FERPA.

Responsible for creating a Technology Support Center (TSC) that consolidated all IT related support into one solution. This provides seamless support for students, faculty, and staff for all their technology needs. Incorporated classroom design and technology training into the TSC areas of responsibility.* Department consists of four distinct units: Technology Support Center, Client Services, Inventory and Imaging Services, and Integrated Technology Services..* Manage annual technology fee budget.* Manage all technology related projects on campus.* Initiated a device refreshment cycle that replaced all obsolete faculty devices with the choice of a new Microsoft Surface, MacBook, or DELL All-in-One. Devices are now on a 3-year replacement cycle.* Initiated a 1:1 initiative that equipped all Nursing students with a Microsoft Surface Go computing device. The device is used for classroom, study, and assessment purposes and eliminated the need for fixed lab computers within this school.* Initiated a 1:1 initiative that equipped all prospective teacher interns with a Microsoft Surface Pro computing device. This allowed the students to meet the requirements of the US Department of Education’s EdTPA assessment.* Design of Learning and Collaborative Spaces. Design is focused on allowing faculty and students to interact with the technology within the classrooms.* Initiated a classroom and lab computer refreshment cycle. All computers are now on a 4-year replacement cycle. Also consolidated and centrally located fixed computer labs.* Project managed the creation of a University Finance Lab in the School of Business and Industry.* Responsible for the following:- Support of all faculty and staff office devices, classroom technology, and campus computing labs.- Purchasing of all new technology on campus.- Design of Learning and Collaborative Spaces.- Active participant in Business Continuity and Academic Continuity planning at the university
