After 5+ years leading Fluke's Thermography engineering team I transitioned to a new role that broadened my involvement to a wider range of Fluke's technologies and businesses. Reporting to the VP Technology and Planning, my chief responsibility is to identify, evaluate and develop new technologies and innovations that will accelerate growth, especially in new/adjacent markets. Related responsibilities include identifying, cultivating and creating partnerships with outside technology sources and teaming with in-house and outside council to lead IP strategy and execution for select Fluke business units.Selected Achievements:- Architected and implemented a new technology development funnel and process including distinct technology readiness levels ("TRLs"); piloted the process within the Thermography business unit; based on success, was tapped to join newly commissioned Fluke-wide team to adapt and deploy the process Fluke wide.- Corporate development due diligence team member for technology and IP portfolio assessment on seven M&A projects.- Expert witness in successful IP litigation.- Fluke Engineering Fellow.Fluke is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of rugged, hand-held electronic test and measurement tools for industrial and electrical maintenance.
