Senior Studio Manager of the Sydney Studio (part of a group of seven studios in Australia, China, and Middle East). Sydney studio is a team of 48 within a global team of 190. As the practice expanded to include overseas manufacturing and a joint owner of a new boutique hotel my role saw me take a broad overview reporting to the Directors on all aspects of the business. - Change management: Oversaw rapid growth from 5 to 25 persons and creation of a new manufacturing entity which necessitated the development of clear operating procedures for existing and new staff and subcontractors.- Developed operating procedures in line with ISO9001 and AIA Practice Notes including project and quality management methodologies, positioning studio to achieve ISO9001 certification- Developed safety procedures to position studio toward harmonised OSH- Developed human resource protocols including on boarding, staff performance and feedback management, and remuneration assessment methods and recommendations.
