I'm cofounder and President of Hildegard College, a liberal arts college of entrepreneurship in southern California. We're an alternative college built on the classical liberal arts tradition, based in on the ground entrepreneurial communities, and committed to a debt-free education. Other hats: I've worked in product and program design, organizational strategy, and publishing. I love exploring new paths of learning -- inside and outside of academic institutions, businesses, and organic communities. I think a lot about creative ways of measuring learning and growth. And I care deeply about virtue and character formation. I've written books and articles on theater, religion and literature, and early modernity in the writings of authors like Shakespeare, Milton, Donne, Herbert, Augustine, Baudelaire, Aristotle, and others.
