Maintenance Manager
CurrentBudgeting: Prepare maintenance budget for Mine operation. The maintenance budget is $7m. Also monitor budget tracking on a daily basis to ensure control of expenditure.6 Direct Reports: 2 x Maintenance Co-Ordinators, Weekly Schedule Planner, Shutdown Planner. 1 x Electrical Engineers and 1x Mechanical EngineerSetting KPI’s for direct report and their direct reports: Produce KPI results on weekly basis: Plant Shut Downs: Working with the Shut planner and Maintenance Co-Ordinators we work on manning levels and required skill levels for each task. This is done working to shut budget. Some shuts we can have up to 40 extra personnel on site. I manage regular meetings with area supervisors to record shut status and safety issues.Maintenance Compliance: Ensure that maintenance is carried out within company occupational health, safety and environmental policies and procedures. Also ensure maintenance is carried out within Australian and state regulations.Maintenance Improvement: Working with maintenance and engineering team we analyse PM01’s, and maintenance works for continual improvement in strategy, training techniques. Continual Improvement: Manage site continual improvement program. This process is to lead a team that investigates improvement suggestions from all personnel. Our responsibility is to approve or reject improvement decision. If approved we scope the works with a cost analysis, this either can go to capital approval or placed in SAP for the works to be carried out.SAP: Sap is a computerised maintenance tool, which all works are processed through.Contract Management: Manage site contracts, Road haulage (Kalari), Power Generation Plant (KPS), Product Shipping Storage (GRA), and Site Cater Service (CCS).
