As Shift Manager I would accomplish all shift work requirements by orienting, assisting and coaching employees. I would ensure all standards are met by following production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. As a shift manager i was responsible for monitoring operations, reallocating resources and solving operational problems.I would set out daily targets for my team in the different areas of the restaurant while pushing to meet these targets on a day-day basis. I would reward my team when targets wore hit and would also give them feedback if they had not met the targets set out for a particular day while coaching them on how they could do it more efficiently next time round.
