In my nine years as a Creative Writer in the radio industry I generated attention-grabbing copy for hundreds of clients. Before starting any major advertising campaign I would usually consult with clients to identify their target audience and campaign goals. In this role I also supported sales team members by accompanying them on client calls and creating spec ads for them to pitch to potential clients. Finally, I aided our production team as an announcer/voice actor. Outside of the radio industry I've worked with several small businesses on print marketing, web design and social media marketing projects; my involvement has ranged from assisting with basic consultation to heading the development and implementation of entire communications plans. In August 2014 I joined the Santas Anonymous Communications Committee. In this volunteer position I assist with communications planning, web and social media strategy development and project management. In 2019 I earned my Bachelor of Professional Arts in Communications Studies degree from Athabasca University, and in June 2022 I completed my Bachelor of Arts in History through The Open University. Now I am continuing my studies with the University of Birmingham's MA History Online program.
