Guided successful Federal AmeriCorps National Direct Grant applications.Researched, wrote and submitted successful technology grants through the City of Austin. Managed budget for the organization’s grants to influence organization's financial stability. Built credibility, established rapport, and maintained communication with AmeriCorps members and community at multiple levels, including those external to the organization.Developed partnerships and internship opportunities with local companies and nonprofit organizations for AmeriCorps members.Provided business consulting, and knowledge expertise in computer-repair, processed assessment work, and the application of technologies to AmeriCorps members. Mentored staff in methodologies of AmeriCorps compliance procedures and reporting tools.Fostered positive student dynamic by coordinating inter-program group activities.Helped create sustainable volunteer base by promoting, organizing, and coordinating volunteers and volunteer activities.Created manual for and trained incoming replacement for position.

Recruited, managed, and educated ten to twenty at-risk youth aged 16 to 24 for Computer Corps year-round green-energy training program.Developed individual educational programs for students at different learning levels to promote their physical, mental, and social development. Modified Computer Corps curricula by transitioning from internship-based program to a hardware and technology-repair program focused on computer refurbishing and community donation programs.Increased growth of Computer Corps by securing new partners, consulting engagements and by delivering new projects.Dramatically increased student attendance rate from 63% in 2008 to a campus-wide high of 93% 2012.Developed digital video production and online marketing curricula for “Film Corps,” an intensive studio-film class. Counseled members in academic, personal, and career goals. Organized community-wide computer donation drives.Managed and taught summer programs through GoodWill Industries and Cisco Systems.Organized computer donation events and technology training events to low-income housing residents.
