Currently working for the largest philanthropic trust in New Zealand with funds under management of ~$1.7B. Reporting to the Head of Investments and Finance, I contribute to the overall management of a highly diversified investment portfolio by managing the day-to-day relationships with the Foundation’s external investment managers, custodian and asset consultant. Responsible for investment operations, covering implementation, cash flow management, foreign exchange, currency hedging, investment manager monitoring and reviews, audit assistance, AML, regular portfolio reporting to the investment committee, SIPO (including responsible investment policy) monitoring and compliance. Focus over the last thirteen years has been building out a significant private investment allocation, including exposures to private equity, venture capital, infrastructure, property, impact investments and hedge funds, Have previously worked in funds management and investment banking firms in Auckland, Sydney and London.
