In short... I started out learning c and c# programming at QUT, before continuing on to develop a large-scale website (territorymap.com.au) which hooked into google maps api. This also forced me to learn how to manage a website due to the countless issues I ran into. This gave me the experience to be able to land my first Job at Premium IT Solutions as their only on-shore website developer.When I first learnt website development, it put me into a position where I had to self teach myself the full-stack environment. Fortunately, I am thankful for the countless hours I put in to develop my basic website skills which launched my career as a developer.After my first website under my belt, I wanted to expand my knowledge and push myself further in this industry. I took an entry level position at an IT company to ease myself into a role where a could continue to grow my website developing skills. I quickly learnt how busy this industry was and how fast my role would grow, the time I needed to put it in, continued to grow in order to keep up. I was promoted into a position where I was project managing off-shore staff, running the office for long-term periods, as well as being sub-contracted out for expertise.My time in the role as a website developer at Premium IT Solutions was probably the most beneficial experience that expanded my skill set quickly, learning new programming technology (WordPress, Magento and Hacked Website Recovery), alongside my experience and certifications grew respectively. I am confident in calling myself a 'full-stack developer', thrown in with some online marketing to help concrete my foundation on the development and growth of an online website/business.
