In my role as Vice Chair and Global Client Partner at PwC / Strategy&, I am responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of integrated and tailored solutions to our most strategic and complex clients across the globe. I work closely with senior executives to understand their challenges, creating value propositions that align with their strategic goals, with a primary focus on revenue and margin growth. I leverage my strong external and internal networks from previous global and local territory leadership roles to mobilize the best teams and capabilities from across PwC / Strategy& to provide client-centric services that lead to sustained outcomes and long-term relationships.I have over 25 years of experience in management consulting, with a focus on technology enabled strategy, transformation, M&A and innovation. I have served clients in various industries, including private equity, energy, utilities, financial services, technology, telecommunications, mining, industrials and healthcare. I have led numerous engagements on topics such as growth strategy, digital transformation (including AI), customer experience, operational excellence, organizational design, and change management. I have also been involved in a number of large-scale mergers and acquisitions, both as an advisor and as an integration leader.I am passionate about developing and nurturing talent, fostering a culture of collaboration and inclusion, and driving positive social impact. Matthew Wetmore is the National Managing Partner, Clients & Markets and a member of the Canadian Leadership Team. He oversees our clients, market segments, major cities and regional offices. Matthew works with our clients and PwC teams to address evolving market trends and needs. He also leads one of our global client accounts. During his time at PwC, Matthew has served as the national leader of PwC's private equity and pension funds (PE/PF) practice; the national leader of our energy, utilities, mining and industrial products (EUMI) practice and as the Strategy& practice leader in Canada. With more than 25 years of experience, Matthew is a collaborative markets-focused leader who has a strong track record of delivering strategic advice and practical, value-add solutions to clients in Canada, the US and the UK. He has led projects ranging from growth strategy, tech enabled business transformation and cost alignment to risk mitigation and business integration, with a primary focus on private equity clients and their investments across a number of industry sectors.Adding to his practice experience, Matthew acted as Vice President of Finance for a large energy client and prior to joining PwC, worked in an energy industry role.Matthew graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and has Canadian CPA,CA and US CPA (Illinois) designations.
