Hello, my name is Matthew Workman I have been a electrician my entire adult life. I started in the electrical field in 2007 doing site lighting. The more contractors, time clocks and photo cells that I wired up the more interested I became to the actual wiring part of the field. After 6 hard yrs. Of ditch labor I decided to start with doing residential wiring. I got a job at Pruitt electric in Belmont working directly under Sam Pruitt. He thought me all the different ways of running romax and house panels to hot tubs swimming pools water heaters including tankless and HVAC. I worked with him for 5 yrs until I realized that there is a lot more money to be made doing commercial and industrial electrical work. So started working for the IBEW INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF Electrical WORKERS. I worked with several different contractors throughout my 4 yrs. That worked with them I climbed up the ladder from a commercial electrician to a Journeyman wireman. My wife and decided to move to Greensboro area to be close to her family. I went to the union here but they had no work and word around town is that that's a travelling union. So I went to hard hat and been working for them as a mechanic while I look for a good solid company that I can continue to grow with and call home
