In this contract I was directly responsible to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), as the sole IT resource I created and managed the Office 365 migration, implementation of Azure Active Directory and O365 application rollouts including Teams and SharePoint working.In my first 10 months, I halved the Haynes Group IT spend whilst delivering more modern, faster, more responsive services and hardware. Revising and installing correctly priced, fit for purpose IT solutions, generating a Telstra technology fund and funding a hardware modernisation program with those funds.I introduced governance across all areas of IT spend setting up preferred purchasing agreements and taking advantage of Sime Darby/Hastings Deering purchasing agreements where possible to create alignment and guarantee best price.Responsible for Strategic goal setting and day-to-day management of the Haynes IT Environment, in February 2019 I successfully transitioned the Haynes Group MSP to Surebridge and then worked with Surebridge and Telstra to move from Telstra MPLS cloud to Azure cloud with file and server migration including creation of an Azure remote data server (RDS) environment for MYOB working.Once transitioned to Azure, Single sign in (ADFS) was implemented in August 2019, followed by multi-factor authentication (MFA) in October 2019. I then aligned Azure active directory records and document storage processes to enable O365 working, providing governance and training for adoption of SharePoint and MS Teams working practices.

I built and managed a team that supports 115 stores nationally across the two brands plus the head office and warehouse in Brisbane as well as the Shopify web platform. I worked directly with both vendors, end users and franchisees to create a national support network and to provide a financed purchasing portal for new hardware for stores with JB HIFI Solutions. All new builds will be to my established template, both new templates save approx. $10,000 on previous builds.Highlights:-• Creation of national support network for all stores and documented IT processes• Purchased and implemented Cisco spark video conferencing technology• Implemented O365 and Azure Active Directory for 85 users• New store IT template Create/Test/Build including Meraki for retail analytics• Update of firewalls and endpoints throughout the network• National software upgrade plus hardware audit and replacement where required• Revised documented, mapped and updated all comms room and server equipment

In this contract position, I worked directly with both the Malaysian hub and the leadership team onsite in Brisbane. With an initial budget of $1.7Million and four staff in PNG, I was responsible for maintaining day-to-day business as usual (BAU) operations whilst at the same time cataloguing and listing all IT hardware and infrastructure components and contracts. I then ran the closure of sites IT and IT services, this included all hardware, data, IT contracts and obligations for the 9 sites in PNG the head office in Brisbane and data centres including the decommission and removal of all the servers, backup and comms. room equipment.I was responsible for the return of data and hardware assets to Malaysia, their disposal or sale by auction.
