Developed and led the National League of Cities Congressional advocacy strategy for the 115th Congress.Responsible for the National League of Cities federal transportation policy portfolio. Advocated for cities, towns, and villages before Congress and the administration. Worked alongside the National League of Cities Transportation Infrastructure and Services Committee to develop federal policy priorities, ushering in national municipal policy on racial equity, technology, and unmanned aerial vehicles.Successfully advocated before Congress and the administration to maintain local control over drones and automated vehicle technology. Efforts highlighted in The Hill, Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, NPR, LexisNexis's Capitol Journal, Nextcity.org, and numerous trade and industry publications. Appointed to the Federal Aviation Administration Drone Advisory Committee Subcommittee (DACSC) to represent the collective voice of cities before the FAA and industry stakeholders.
