Jazz Improvisation: teaching level 5 students jazz improvisation techniques through performance-based seminars. Seminar topics include the modes of the major scale, modes of the melodic minor scales and song analysis. Assessment marking and feedback are part of this role, too.

Science & the Modern World: teaching level 4 CHSTM students how to think and analyse critically various types of media and publications, as well as teaching academic essay writing techniques for the humanities. This role was two semester-long seminar groups and included academic essay marking.

I teach a variety of disciplines and specialise in the guitar, songwriting and performance. I can teach from beginner to advance levels in all of these areas. I am available privately one to one, or for group workshops.Guitar: I teach a range of styles from Popular Music to Jazz, and various approaches like chord repertoire, scales and improvisation. Performances have been across the UK with over 300 theatre shows to date. These include Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, Boisdale at Canary Wharf, Watford Colosseum, The Plaza Stockport, Venue Cymru, and Wolverhampton Grand to name a few.

My role at The Challenge was to inspire and teach young persons (15-17 year olds) key life skills like leadership, team work, communication and empathy through engaging music workshops. The workshops specialised in teaching the young persons Samba Batucada.One of the main goals of The Challenge was to help young persons engage with other groups within their communities that they would not normally connect with, and help them facilitate meaningful relationships.
