Im leveraging a lengthy career in tech and Marketing to answer a call to serve the NFP sector. I’m currently challenged to modernize, enhance, and oversee a wide range of tech and content development solutions for Florida Humanities, a 50 year old NFP dedicated to preserving culture, history, literature, music, and the environment of Florida through grant making, events, programs, publications and digital initiatives. This challenging and rewarding role counts on my expertise to address the ‘how’ of modernization through technology, but also allows me to get very involved in content creation, seek partnerships, and set initiatives statewide to promote, drive, and monetize our Department of Digital Humanities. My key responsibilities and activities include:- Building and growing Florida Humanities’ Department of Digital Humanities- Evaluating and selecting emerging technologies that work together to create comprehensive solutions to future engagement of our audience- Develop relationships and partnerships around the state to the benefit of Florida Humanities and partner organizations.- Expand and develop our Florida Stories tour program- Film, photograph, and create compelling stories statewide that are produced through paid and granted partnerships.
