I am a IT service/delivery manager who has have been working in the IT industry for 20 years. Beginning as a tape operator before moving into a Mainframe systems operator. From there I have moved to the position of a change coordinator and then into a Change Management role working on a customer's site. I then moved into a Availability/Service Delivery Manager for 9 years on various accounts before moving into the role of Delivery Project Executive within IBM. I was responsible for the delivery of one of our Australian customers contract and the Australian portion of another global account where I am responsible for customer satisfaction, working with the delivery teams to meet SLA's and responsible for delivery costs. Working for one of the largest IT Company has enabled me to appreciate and gain working knowledge of the ITSM processes and ITIL (v3 vertified) framework and Project Management methodologies, which I believe, will be advantageous to the organisation. I have been a focal player in our clients’ delivery processes across Intel, Midrange, Network, Middleware platforms, Application support,Hardware/Software accountability and change/incident/problem management process and have developed sound negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills due to my previous experience. As a service manager to some of our largest clients, I appreciate the importance of providing good client service, understanding their requirements and exceeding their expectations. On many occasions I am willing to put in the extra effort required to meet deadlines or work outside of business hours to ensure service availability.
