I am an HR admin that was converted from a temporary assignment. I replaced the former payroll admin and their responsibilities, along with additional flexible functions between departments. - Reports directly to HR Manager and plays an essential role of the HR team.- Screens and assists applicants through application process; scheduling interviews, scheduling off-site drug and alcohol testing, conducting background checks, I-9 documentation, etc. - On-boards new-hires with company policies, Health Safety Environment (HSE) testing, facility tours, timecard/touchID training. - Monitors and communicates expiring driver qualifications, the liaison of transportation team and third party compliance department; drivers' license, certificate of violations, intrastate restrictions, medical examiner's certificate (MEC), etc. - Processes daily payroll; time cards, PTO tracking, vacations, daily operations reports. - Utilizes Kronos program for daily, weekly, and monthly payroll reporting. - Files and audits confidential paperwork such as DOT and termination files- Participates in meetings with managers and administrators about performances and action plans- Cooperates in relief projects; Coremark Hot Shots, XRS installations, off-site recruiting.- Aids other Genesis sites with special projects; installation of time card machine and working remotely.

My temporary assignment was with Genesis Logistics, a subsidiary of DHL. It involved general HR administrative duties, including: filing and auditing confidential paperwork, communicating Genesis policies, cold-call recruiting, and coordinating cultural events.
