Growing up, my parents would ask what I wanted to do with my life. By the age of 10, my default answer had become “something that hasn’t been invented yet,” but it wasn’t until recently when I found meaning in that answer. At McGill, I stumbled across a group of adventurers. Together, at a UN base in Port-au-Prince, we founded a non-profit media group called Developing Pictures. Teetering out of WFP helicopters and filming food drops from sunbaked flatbeds, we produced videos for clients including the UN, International Medical Corps, and a portfolio of local NGOs. I helped produce pieces that ended up on Haitian TV and that were utilized by the UN for damage assessment following the 2011 earthquake. Next, I co-founded and led an e-commerce startup called Moral Fibers. Our team attempted to leverage social good into the bottom line of a for profit company. To accomplish this, we employed over a dozen artists in the developing world and crafted their artwork into enchanting web experiences meant to connect the consumer directly to the artist. After 24 months, 5 FT employees, $150k raised, and 17 artist graduates from our program, my co-founder and I decided to dissolve the company and return to McGill. At Mirametrix, I work with a remarkable team on true technology innovation. I wear hats in business development and own our product. Together, we denature novel technologies into simple, crisp, and effective experiences for world class consumer electronics brands worldwide. Expect our submarine to surface in 2016.Other accomplishments include: •I have raised or helped raise over $4M from private angel investors;•I gave a TEDx talk and was the keynote speaker for the inaugural Red Ideas Festival at Cornell;•I led or was part of teams that won Quebec’s Forces Avenir grant, the McGill University Dobson Cup, and the BDC Innovation Award. Specialties: Product Vision and Development, Strategy, User Experience.
Listed skills include Business Strategy, Startup Founder, Sales And Marketing, Business Development, and 4 others.

Coached 15+ pre seed startups as part of Innovacorp's (now Invest Nova Scotia) Accelerate Incubator.
Built from a foundation of 8-years of university research, Mirametrix is an established market leader for high end attention sensing solutions with over 250 clients from 42 countries worldwide. At Mirametrix, I was initiated and grew strategic relationships with organizations like Lenovo, Intel, and Microsoft, and later led a product team that brought a novel computer vision product to market in the PC space. The technology later shipped on over 20 million PCs worldwide.Mirametrix was acquired by Lattice Semiconductor in November 2021.

TandemLaunch is an early-stage startup incubator and venture fund that turns research from the world's best universities into high-growth startup companies in the consumer electronics space. At TandemLaunch, I worked to develop early stage biosensor and human computer interaction technologies into investment opportunities for the fund.
In 2011, I co-founded Moral Fibers, an ethical e-commerce clothing company that gave artists in the developing world a full-time job creating art for fashion. With Moral Fibers, we won McGill University's Dobson Cup business plan competition and $15,000, and went on to raise a seed round of $150,000 from angel investors. At Moral Fibers, I managed a team of 5 full-time employees in the US and 16 employees in Haiti, built and managed an international product production system that spanned four countries (China, Haiti, the US, and Canada), and worked extensively in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. After 20 months, my partner and I dissolved Moral Fibers in order to further pursue our studies at McGill University. During that time, we significantly helped 16 Haitian artists and their families out of poverty and into steady employment and education.
In January of 2010, I co-founded Developing Pictures, a student non-profit media organization, after traveling to Haiti six weeks after the country's devastating earthquake. Developing Pictures was founded with the mission to produce promotional videos to help fundraise for exceptional non-profit organizations worldwide. At Developing Pictures, I produced videos for the International Medical Corps, Haiti Partners, The Haiti Clinic, Grassroots United, Rebuild Globally, and several other aid organizations. After procuring aerial footage of Port-au-Prince, we worked with the United Nations damage assessment team to map the damage in the city. Developing Pictures launched student chapters at Cornell University, Oxford University, and McGill University, and I personally served as co-chair of the McGill University chapter and grew the group to over 50 participants.
