Currento Progressively responsible experience in a safety, quality and regulatory environment, including time functioning as the Designated Person Ashore (DPA).o Interface with managers and marine employees to help facilitate the review, revision and training of company policy and procedures that comprise an ABS-certified Safety Management Systems (SMS).o Oversee company SMS review and audit program; ensure that internal and external assessments are successfully carried out to verify that health, safety, quality and pollution prevention activities comply with Subchapter M, AWO RCP, ISM Code, ISO, TMSA standards and all other applicable regulations.o Ensure documented corrective actions are addressed and tracked to completion, thereby improving safe working conditions and practices.o Assist in the analysis of data from reported non-conformities, near misses, and incidents; partner with HSQE staff and senior management to improve health/safety, quality and pollution prevention performance.o Developed and coordinated all aspects of training for marine personnel based on assessed training needs and safety/regulatory requirements.o Experience establishing and managing annual budgets.
